The Definition of "Membership" at Troy Assembly of God

Official membership is for those who have intentionally completed our membership process. These individuals have committed to being an active part of our church family and upholding our shared values. As members, they fully share in the rights and responsibilities outlined in our Constitution and By-Laws.

The Qualifications for Membership

  1. Evidence of a genuine experience in regeneration (the new birth). John 1:12-13

  2. Evidence of a consistent Christian Life. Romans 6:4, 8:1-4

  3. To fully subscribe to the Tenets of Faith as set forth in the constitutional Rules of Order adopted by the Assembly

  4. Willingness to contribute regularly to the support of the Assembly according to his or her ability.
